Martin S. Latman is a seasoned Chief Executive and Financial Officer with decades of leadership experience spanning finance, operations, logistics, and technology. Since 2016, Mr. Latman has served as Chief Executive Officer of Latman Advisory Services, providing strategic and fractional CFO services to growth-oriented and turnaround-stage organizations. He has reversed multi-year deficits into profitability, supported charter school restructurings, delivered bottom-line improvements of up to 16%, expanded warehouse capacity by over one million square feet, and negotiated credit facilities ranging from $6 million to $95 million.
Previously, as Chief Financial Officer of Prestige Industries, LLC, a $45 million private equity-owned provider of hotel laundry and valet services, he restructured finance, HR, and technology functions, improved liquidity, reduced receivable days from 54 to 22, negotiated union contracts, and restored EBITDA to positive performance.
From 2005 to 2012, Mr. Latman served as CFO of Landers-Segal Colors Co. Inc., a $65 million importer and distributor of pigments. There, he reduced financing costs by 63%, drove 25% growth through acquisitions and divestitures, implemented ERP systems to protect margins, and increased net worth by 50%. Earlier, as CFO of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, he restored financial stability, strengthened funding relationships, and returned the organization to profitability.
Mr. Latman’s earlier leadership roles include senior finance and operating positions with Tempest Software, Checkolite International, Beacon Looms, Caswell-Massey, I.S.
