Thomas G. Amato brings more than 40 years of experience in finance and corporate development across telecommunications, technology, manufacturing, and finance. He has a distinguished record of driving corporate growth, leading strategic planning and capital-raising initiatives, and managing complex mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings for both public and private companies.

Thomas has served as Chief Financial Officer for several high-profile organizations, including Dialogic Corporation, Wavesmith Networks, and Tachion Networks. At Dialogic, he played a pivotal role in the company’s $780 million sale to Intel, strengthened financial reporting, improved Wall Street credibility, and executed strategic initiatives such as a share repurchase program and securing a $20 million strategic venture fund. At Tachion Networks, he successfully raised $50 million in private equity, built scalable infrastructure, and managed asset sales during restructuring. At Wavesmith Networks, he guided the company from development phase to revenue generation while securing additional funding and implementing key operational improvements.

Earlier in his career, Thomas served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Symbol Technologies, where he helped grow revenue from $221 million to $655 million, managed multiple acquisitions, and coordinated major restructuring initiatives that improved profitability and operational efficiency. At Amcast Industrial Corporation, he oversaw corporate restructuring efforts involving acquisitions, divestitures, capital-raising activities, and cost-reduction programs that generated significant financial savings.

Beyond his corporate leadership roles, Thomas has been active in board and advisory capacities. He is the founder and chair of Lambent Data, Inc., focused on social determinants of health, and has served on the boards of Carrier Clinic and Intersections, Inc. His guidance has helped organizations across sectors navigate strategic challenges and strengthen long-term performance.

Thomas holds an AB in Economics from Princeton University and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of his professional work, he is active in church leadership, global charitable missions, and alumni involvement with Princeton and Wharton, and is an avid Civil War historian.
